My mother made many quilts over the years. Some of the most cherished included fabric scraps from clothing she made for us. I love the idea of making my "scraps" useful like she did. Mosaic Pages are a great way to use those bits and pieces that are left over from a variety of projects.
With just a few small paper scraps, a sheet of 12×12 Mosaic Moments Grid Paper, and a little time, a lovely scrapbook page can be created. In the page below I used my paper scraps to create a border around the edge of my page by alternating 1 x 1 inch squares and 2.125 x 1 inch rectangles.
Supplies used: 12×12 White Mosaic Moments Grid Paper, scraps of Basic Grey patterned paper, Mosaic Moments PaperTiles.
Things we saw while we watched the sun rise:
1. A tractor raking the sand.
2. Surfers catching early morning waves.
3. Dolphins.
CHALLENGE: Use photo or paper scraps to make a border around your next scrapbook page (share it on Journella.com or your own blog) include a list of the things you saw or did.
